Workshops include how to build a reputable email list, the power of email marketing for business, automating your social media campaign to save time and how to track your marketing results.
The Independent Business Women’s Circle (IBWC) was launched in April 1999 as a “social network” to bring together entrepreneurial women in diverse fields who recognize the benefits of making time to leave the office to meet new, like-minded people. IBWC is different than other networking organizations for women. Camaraderie is encouraged as much as networking. While most members are self-employed, the IBWC welcomes those employed by companies in a more independent capacity. The group’s philosophy is that it is truly through both relationship-building and information/resource-sharing that women can grow, take risks, launch successful businesses, cultivate new clients and careers, share trade secrets, and enrich their personal and professional lives. At IBWC we believe that women have a limitless potential to achieve whatever they desire. We are here to provide a nurturing and supportive environment to help make that happen. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month from 12:00 – 2:00 PM in Nassau and Suffolk County, LI, NY. Expert speakers lead workshops on a wide range of topics, and networking is promoted through business card exchange, special “Conversation and Connections” events and brainstorming sessions.
